Main Task: Planning, Photographs

For my cover i want to make a lasting impression, this photo of kate bush is quite unique which is what i wish to go for, i like the idea of the leaves surrounding her face; this also suggests the time of the year autumn.

I would like my cover to feature a quirky styled classy singer, i will use one of my models to sit in my chosen location with different props to bring the photo together.

This photograph of the band Beriut is very simple yet effective because all the band members are smiling. I want this to be the same case with my magazine to represent a friendly and casual feel throughout.











This Gloria Gaynor photograph is one of my favourites and is what i would like to incorporate into my magazine cover and double pages. The way in which Gaynor is stood and what she is wearing gives a feeling of class, her clothing also represents a retro feel.





I am still uncertain whether i want a plain background for my front cover so the readers are focused on the main model of the cover, although the idea of a background draws the readers in and enables them to relate to the location.
