Main task: Planning, Colour scheme

This pallet of colours is what i will refer to when doing my magazine. The colours within this pallet are soft and light which relates to my target audience, these colours are not harsh on the eyes and all blend rather well together.

I will choose at maximum three colours for on my cover, contents and double page spread. I will try keep the colours the same with different tones so the magazine has its own style which can be recognised easily.

To keep the magazine looking fresh i will only stick to these three colours, i am going to stay away from lots dark colours as this can steer my magazine into a different type of audience. Pastel pinks and purples may be a bit to gender appropriate so i will try and focus on different colours so get the desired affect.

Vintage styled colours seem to be quite 'dusty' in tone, with other colours within them. Lighter colours seemed to be favoured within the vintage times.

To increase effect i may use some metal like colours such as silver, this is to create the illusion of the old microphones singers used to use to give a cutting edge and simplistic effect to the covers.
